Blue Screen Dump when restarted or shutting down

We have 6 Toshiba Tecra 9100's with S3 display adapters.
When logged onto the AD domain and during a shutdown,
restart or logoff the laptop goes into a blue screen
dump. Dumping physical memory and points to s3ssav.dll as
the problem. If you logon to the laptop with a local
account and are connected to the same network then the
computer acts normal and will shutdown and restart. We
have done the following.
1. Called Toshiba and was told that we had incompatible
memory installed. We pulled out the extra stick of memory
but this had no effect on the problem.
2. Reloaded the s3 and intel nic driver from the restore
disk with no results
3. Reloaded a laptop with a fresh build from a restore
disk and this did not fix the problem.

I did however take the laptop to another AD Domain,
joined it to that Domain and the laptop does work
properly. The only difference in the two domains are SP
and hotfixes. Can someone tell me were to look for the
problem that I believe to be in the AD domain.

Are you utilizing mandatory profiles? Does the problem occur if you log into
domain while in Safe Mode with Networking? What applications load when
logged in to the Domain that do not load when logged in locally? Does it
matter whether a Domain Admin versus a standard Domain user log in?
