I need to find a way to pause the BSOD so I can find out what the error
messages are. I am using XP Pro. The BSOD appears for about 1\2 second and
then dissappears and the computer reboots, It does not matter if I am trying
to start normally or if I try in any of the safe modes. I can reach recovery
console from the cd. If there is no way to pause the BSOD, then is there
another way to find the error.

The windows Advance option menu for my computer does not have the "disable
automatic restart " option. it did have the "enable boot logging" which I
have enabled, it also has "debugging mode", "enable vga mode" , and a
directory services option for domain controllers.
