Blue Screen of Death on Send

Recently whenever I press send on an email, the machine dies and shows the
Blue Screen of Death for just a moment (too brief to read) before it
re-boots. I "repaired" Outlook from Add/Remove Programs and I ran ScanPST on
the .pst file. I ran RegCure and fixed a few registry errors. Still the
same problem. All other Outlook functions are normal. Thanks!

You're not providing any info to work with here;
Version of Outlook?
Version of Windows?
What is logged to the Event Viewer?
Can you reproduce the error in Outlook Safe Mode?
Start-> Run; outlook.exe /safe

My guess it that it is being caused by virus scanner integration.

Dear Roady,

Sorry! Outlook 2003, Windows XP SP2. The System Event Viewer logs many
errors to SideBySide in the time frame. The Application Event Viewer just
lists Application Error. I'll try duplicating the error in Safe Mode and get
back to you.

Thanks!

Disable all email scanning by antivirus scanners and find and delete the
*.srs file for your profile.
