Hi,
I have a new computer. Asus laptop. I run Norton AV, Ad-Aware, defrag
every couple of weeks, etc. I keep it well maintained and there seems to no
viruses or problems. However, lately whenever I change the screensaver time
(i.e. to have the screensaver go on after 60 minutes instead of 5 minutes) in
Display Properties (it's set to My Picture Slideshow and has worked fine
until now) the desktop (screen) turns blue. There are no error codes. The
computer doesn't crash and everything seems to keep working fine (but I know
something must be causing it). The first time it happened I rebooted but it
stayed blue. Then I did a System Restore and it fixed it. However next time
I changed the screensaver time (I change it sometimes when I'm watching
movies so the screensaver doesn't go off during the movie) it happened again.
I was wondering if anyone has experienced the same problem and if anyone
knows how to fix it. I thank you in advance for any information you might
have for me.
