Go into Control Panel/System and Maintenance/System/Advanced Settings in
the Startup and recovery section uncheck automatically restart. Then post
with your error messages. Shutdown problems are difficult to diagnose. One
method that would help if you suspect a specific driver, like you with
Lexmark, would be to use Task Manager and shut down any tasks that relate to
it. Same with any other tasks you suspect.
