Each time I try to image my system using Norton Ghost I get a blue screen at
the end of the imaging process. The whole error follows:

Stop
0x000000c2(0x0000000000000007,ox00000000000011d3,ox00000000002c001e,0xfffffa8005103880)

I have noticed that others have seen this error inconjunction with other
factors (video card drivers, etc). Now I see the error on the Vista system
when I am saving a ghost image of another computer (XP OS) on the Vista
system. The transfer is taking place over a wired network to a USB HD on the
Vista System that appears to be working otherwise. However, I have been
having other problems with file transfers and permissions ever since a Vista
update that was installed on 10-29-2007. I am not sure of the scope of the
update. I am just wondering what is going on. The Vista system Imaging to
the same HD seems to be working alright.

The Blue screen said that it was making dumps but I don't know where they
are yet. Will see if I can find them.

The English translation for your error code (0x000000c2) is "The operating
system cannot run %1".

That probably does very little to help, but I thought I'd pass it along.

Surprise! I am back again. I tried to image the system once more and an
error appeared during the final stages of the process once more. This time
the error was )x000000d1,
0x0000000000000000,0000000000000002,0000000000000001,fffff980007e22ec

I am really wondering if the problem may be in Ghost and not the OS. Hope
it isn't with Ghost. There isn't any real support available from the
Symantec organization.
