Home built P4 3.06, 500 w supply, fx 5200 graphics, 1 gig
333 ddr, running XP Pro. Sounds nice BUT! blue screen
problems, it says;

***stop: 0x0000008e (0x0000005,
0xbf91abf,0xf380c7e0,0x00000000)

***win32k.sys address bf91adbf
Base at bf800000
date stamp 367 de 698

p.s. HINT it is not a worm lol

Thanks to anyone who can sort this matter out. The
problem is random, powerpack has 2 fans and it has in &
out case fans, latest try (now) is splitting hard drive
in to 10 (ten) drives. Page file 1500 mb.

step 1: go to support.microsoft.com
step 2: select advanced search
step 3: enter 0x0000008e in the word to search for, select windows xp in the
products.
step 4: search and start reading....

looks like several possibilities. these may be good starting places:
http://support.microsoft.com/default...&Product=winxp
http://support.microsoft.com/default...&Product=winxp
http://support.microsoft.com/default...&Product=winxp
