| And you can't uninstall Windows Messenger. It is an integral part of
Windows
| and apparently Windows won't run without it. Uninstalling Messenger using
| the Windows Components feature in Add/Remove programs only removes the
| shortcuts for Messenger.
|
| So you may still be logged in to Messenger and the messages are probably
| related to that. If you're getting lewd messages from people not on your
| contact list you may very well have a virus related to messenger. There
have
| been several. Make sure your A/V is up to date.
|
| And change your Messenger password and then make sure you're logged out.
