Inside folders of assorted documents the file names usually are in black,
randomly files started being highlighted in blue. They are not files that i
use a lot or a little.
It is just weird and i would like to resolve this back to black text.

It's not weird at all. Files that have been compressed, for example because
you ran Disk Cleanup and left the default option to Compress old file, are
shown in blue.

Also in your windows directry there is most likely a good sized list of
them. They are from your updates and hotfixes.
