blocking pop-ups on WindowsXP

Christina,

You can either disable the messenger service in windows
or put a firewall in place to block those annoying pop-up
messages. This method will block all of the messenger
pop-ups, but not the browser pop-ups that you get when
you are surfing the web. If you are unsure how to do
this, just let me know, and I will tell you how to
disable the messenger service and/or install a firewall.
