Is it possible to set up something that will block the history from being
deleted.

This will not prevent someone from going into Windows Explorer, in some
cases, and manually deleting the History that way, but there is a registry
addition you can set to disable clearing the History via IE's
Tools...Internet Options or via Control Panel....Internet Options...

also disable the Clear History
http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/537/ - if that doesn't work,
remove the General tab altogether

Could you give us the version of Windows you are using, and a bit more
information about the problem? What is happening to the History? Why do
you think it is being deleted? What settings do you have now for the number
of day to keep the History? How much disk space are you allowing for saving
the History?
