Epson printers (C82 in my case) have a problem with some of
the hoses coming loose. I had to rework my C82 twice before
I had enough of it and replace the unit with a Canon Pixma 3000.
There are a number of web sites dedicated to printer issue(s). I
believe that FixYourPrinter.Com is where I located the discussion
on how to repair the damn C82.
Check for help here:

P.S. I've gone through all the brands of Ink Jets over the years &
this Pixma line from Canon is first rate. Even has clear ink
cartridges, so you can visually see the ink levels.
