How to block others from remote acces to my pc on a lan

I am using Win XP Pro

And users on teh same doamin have access to my pc from th run command and
then can open my c drive ...by mapng to it... i have the firewall installed
from sp2, is teher anythign i can do?

If you have the firewall on and are in a domain where the systems
administrator decided you can control your Firewall settings - turn off the
exception you must have turned on for File & Printer Sharing.

Just remember it may be enabled on purpose by the admins and they may
want it there.
