I keep getting spam emails from an address with @exe as the sender. When I
try to add this to the blocked senders list I get the error "Email address or
domain name not valid".
How can I get around this to add an invalid email address to the blocked
senders list?

Use a rule that looks for "@exe" in the sender's address.

You could use an Outlook Rule that permanently deletes any email with @exe
in the sender's address.
