I have a 13 yr old boy who is surfing chat sites and he is clearing his
history.
I have tried guest account but he can still erase history. I can not find a
spot as Admin. to stop anyone from erasing anything on my computer.
please respond as I tried all I know to track him and where he goes. I do
not want to block everything as I wish to see where he goes first.

That's like looking in your kids closet for "bad" things. I'd let my kid
have their privacy.

You should consider using something like NetNanny or CyberSitter. Both
have free demo versions and both allow significant control and recording of
events and actions, in a way that the targeted user cannot erase. You can
get pretty lax on restrictions so that they actually can get to sites they
actually do legitimately need . They work well and aren't very expensive.

Both rely heavily on the integrity of their admin password; you should
change it regularly.

I would suggest that you also discuss this with the child as well, as being
open about it is probably easier all round. It's not like the software
won't be noticed.
