"block delete" at the bottom of my word screen

If I try to delete in a word document, this comes up at the bottom of the
screen,
"Block Delete? Yes No ". But if I try to click on yes or no, it still does
not allow me to delete. Sometimes I can hit backspace after that to delete.
How do I get rid of this command?

Tools > Options > General tab
Uncheck th etwo WordPerfect options

Where do I uncheck these two wordperfect options?
