How to select a block of cells and make appear as a single cell ? ( but is
still multiple cells under the covers )

=A1 & " " & B1.....

Or turn off gridlines and apply a border to your selection.

For what purpose?

One method.............

Select a range of cells A110

Color background to white, put a border around that block.

Give the range a name.

Pick the rangename from Namebox.
