Is it at all possible to block something that I previously allowed to run?

e.g. an app I was installing needed to run at startup, which I allowed, but
I now need to block it (to not run)

Thanks.

You can't use Microsoft Antispyware as a generic blocker of whatever you
choose--if an app is green-flagged, it'll go in whether you would prefer to
block it or not.

That said, the "always allow" list is in an oddball place in the present UI:

Options, Settings, Spyware scan.

Run msconfig and remove that app from the startup list.
