Block Access to HotMail via Outlook Express

How would we block access to HotMail via Outlook Express with our firewall
or content filter system? Curretnly we are able to block access to HotMail,
and other internet based mail servers, through Web Inspector, but are unable
to block it if the user(s) have set up Outlook Express to be their mail
client. Are there specific ports that need to be diabled on the firewall
and will there be other ramifications by closing them?
