Hi all,
I just installed a new mother-board with sound on-board.
Since then - every message box starts with a blip and then the regular ding.
Also the sound is delayed (comes lots after the messagebox)
Please advise

Did you perform a Repair Installation after installing the new motherboard?

Hi Cari.

No I have not used "Repair Installation" because there are no problems with
my sound in other applications.
Also I noticed that the blip comes only when the message box is an
exclamation one (the one with the yellow !)
When the message box is critical (with the red x) + the sound is "chord" -
there is no blip before it.

I also used TweakUI and removed "Beep on errors" (found in the General
settings)
