I made a button in photo shop, it has a black background
with white text, when i put into my web page ,that has a
black background it does not blend in, the gif or jpeg
seem to be a diferent color black i use the eyedroper to
match up color but they still look diff,any one Know how i
can match these up?

Trial and error, adjust your page background color until it matches. When
saving as GIF image, look for the option set as solid colors.

Perhaps you could try taking a screen shot of the black background page, and
then making the button using the black color from the screen shot.

Do you have this online somewhere that we could take a look at it. You
don't have any bevel on the edges of the button that might make it stand out
or anything, do you?

Leo -

Make a small square (4 x 4 pixels?) in PhotoShop using the same shade of
black as the image. Use that image as your background image. Perfect blend.
