Blank Window

Toshiba Laptop
Windows 2000

I dropped my cell phone and it skated across the keyboard
of my laptop. The screen is now blank although I think I
see a very faint image of the desktop.

I have turned the computer off and back on twice but that
did not bring the screen back.

Perhaps the phone hit a series of keys that blanked out or
darkened the screen?

E-Mail: (E-Mail Removed)

Thanks for your help
Jeff

Try holding the "Fn" key and using an "F" key like F4, F5, F6, etc. to
lighten or darken the screen. Usually the correct "F" keys are marked by a
small shiny circle and up or down arrows.

perhaps you have some keys that adjust the "brightness" and contrast.
They might look like a sun or a light or a "half moon"
