Blank Screen When I Right Click on A Video File

If I right click on a video file to launch that menu, my screen goes
completely blank for about 1 second before comes back on. It's as if it has
to load something into memory. I have 2GB of RAM. It only happens on
Videos.

I ran into this (supposedly) fix but it did nothing:
****************************************
100% CPU usage when using Media Player/AVI files

AVI Search Remove (Line 74)
http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm
****************************************
However, I don't think this file was updated to reflect the Windows XP
Registry.
Any ideas how to fix this issue?
Thanks

Thanks

Let windows manage your swap file. Dont set it manually.

Yes Windows is managing my swap space already.
I still get a 1-2 seconds of black screen when I right mouse click on a
video.

Nothing shows that I need an update.
I'm only using the onboard video card.
I am viewing my desktop at a 1600x900 resolution.
