Blank screen when installing XP (after the 1st prompted restart)

Hi,

I'm trying to install my licensed upgrade XP OS onto my new computer - it goes through the initial part of the setup OK and advises to either wait the 15 seconds or press any key to reboot. Once it's rebooted, it goes through the system self test OK, but all I get is a blank screen where it should start going through the guided GUI part of the install.

My system specs are:

AMD 64 Athlon 2800+ Processor
MSI mainboard K8MM-ILS
512MB PC3200 400Mhz DDR Ram
80GB 7200rpm (8MB cache) Western Digital HDD

I really appreciate it if anyone knows what I should do...
