OK, I think that I have done everything possible to ensure that my system is
updated. I have tried up-grade and tried clean install (boot from dvd/cd
drive). Now, I have noticed that nivida has a driver for my video card for
vista. Cannot install unless vista is already in place. So what would happen
if I unstalled the driver for my video card and then tried the install? Would
this solve my problem? I don't want to try, because re-installing xp and
getting all the current updates is getting old! My video card is a FX5700LE
256MB (AGP). Can Vista be installed with a graphic card inplace?--Trying to
install home premium
