I put a new m/board and cpu in my friends PC, and left him to install
his own OS, afterI setup the BIOS for the hardware etc.
Now he tells me that after the install is complete and the machine re
boots, the screen goes blank.
Could this be the AGP graphics card?

Was this a clean install or a repair install?

Did he remember to install the motherboard chipset utilities?

Not possible to do that, because when the machine boots back up again,
after the BIOS screen, there is nothing, just a black screen.
The drivers etc from the CD cannot be installed in DOS mode, so it says.
