I just set up my hard drives with RAID-0, so i pressed F6
before installing Windows 2k and that all went swell, i use
the Silicon Image SiI 3112A SATA (serial ATA) RAID
controller. I finished formatting the drives to NTFS and
the CD copied the files needed to boot into Windows to
finish installing. When the computer restarts and its time
to boot from the hard drives i just get a blank black
screen instead of the normal Windows installation screen.
What do I do?
p.s. I am using a NF7-S rev 2.0 motherboard with on board
SATA RAID

did you press F6 during the installation and use the manufacturers
drivers?

I imagine that you would need to provide the Win 2 k install with them
for it to properly install.

And presumably the boot options are correctly set in the bios?

Yes, I made all the correct boot options in the BIOS and
used the manufacturers drivers for the RAID controller
prior to installing Windows.
