blank pages in word

      7th Sep 2003
i dont know if i am in the right place,but,i type a
document on one page and save it.then when i open it up
the next time there are two pages,the second one is
blank.how do i get rid of page 2?

Hi, Ken,

Press Alt+Shift+8 (or click the ¶ button on the toolbar) to display
nonprinting characters. If you see a ton of empty paragraph marks (¶
symbols) after the typed text, delete them.

If you don't see paragraph marks, click View > Normal and look at the bottom
for a page break or section break (a dotted line across the screen with the
break type printed in the middle). If there is one, select it and delete it.
