I just installed WinXP Pro on a clean system everything
went fine until it was time for Windows to load. As soon
as it finished booting the screen turns off, I can still
hear the sounds of window startup and popups from the xp
toolbar so I know it finished loading. And I have used XP
on the exact same system before. The only change is that I
now have a 2nd hard drive with 1 primary and 1 extended
(with 1 logical drive) on the master and 1 extended (with
1 logical) on the slave. Any help would be greatly
appreciated

Anna, try reinstalling WinXP with the second drive removed. Once XP is
loaded and running then add the second drive.
