hi i seem to have an about blank homepage hijacker. does anyone know an easy
way of getting rid of it as im not very computer literate lol. i have run
avg, adaware and spybot all in safe mode, but its still there. thanks, julie.

can you let me know if your software is finding the hijacker file or not, if
so, what is the file name and location please..

If you have run all those malware finders I assume you mean your home page
is set to blank. If that is what you mean open control panel | internet
options. Look where it says 'home page'. You can either type the address
into there or browse to the page you want to use as your home page then
cross 'use current' which will put the address in the correct box. Close all
internet explorer windows and reopen to see if it works.

ive already tried that. i have since installed zone alarm on my comp and now
when i open my internet browser page it goes straight to internet security
and wont change back to yahoo, but about blank seems to have disappeared. do
u have any ideas please. thanks, julie.
