I have a workstation that displays a blank desktop screen
for anyone that logs on without local admin rights. I can
only logon to the machine as local admin. How can I get a
normal disply without having to give a user local admin
rights?
I have tried removing the user profile from system
properties, taking away admin rights, and logging in
anew. Performing this procedure would create a new
profile. I still have no desktop or blank desktop after
logging on to windows 2000.
Although, the desktop is not displayed, I noticed is that
the explorer.exe service does not start for a user that
does not have local admin rights.
Articles 256194 and 162031 did not help.
Any suggestions?
