Using Windows XP Pro SP2.
When I try to copy data to my CDROM drive, system says that there is no disk
in the drive - even though I put blank CD in. Tried several blank CD-R as
well as blank DVD-R.
Recording tab shows in properties, and recording is enabled.
Any suggestions?

WXP sucks! Three new pc's and same problem...cannot use built in disk
burning. System doesn't recognise blank disc. Loaded a free TP package -
ImgBurn - and wrote discs no problem. What the hell MS??

Amazing, it works for 500 million users but not you. Perhaps review what
was done to those particular PC's.
