Blackberry woes - I miss my Palm Pilot

I received a new computer at work and the company policy no longer allows me
to have Palm Pilot syncing software on my computer. They gave me a
Blackberry instead. That would be ok except I cannot keep my work computer
in sync with my home computer. I don't want to have to check the Blackberry
6 times a day, I want to be able to see both work and home tasks and
appointments in my Outlook at home.

So, here is the question: is there a way to export the calendar portion of
my Outlook on my work computer, email it to my home and then import it here?

I know Outlook has some import/export features for contacts, but I have not
been that successful with doing even that and I've never tried it with the
Calendar function.

TIA
Alan

You can export your calendar to PST, and then import it on your work
computer (or open the PST file and copy stuff in) if you want your personal
business on your company computer - most people don't. Emailing may or may
not work depending on the file size; you may find an external USB memory
stick easier. Regardless, you'd have to do this all the time, which could be
an immense pain -

Myself, I don't want any of my personal data *at all* on a company
computer - I don't want it to become the property of the business owner. If
I were you I'd keep my Palm for my home stuff and my BB for my work stuff.

Easy, sync your Outlook at work and home via the BlackBerry.

Just install the BlackBerry v4 software on your home PC (you can download it
from www.blackberry.com), and configure it to sync Tasks, Calendar etc. Once
configured, just plug your BlackBerry in via the USB cable and it will sync up.
Exactly as you've been doing with your Palm.

If your company is running server v4, then your work Calendar will sync
immediately with any updates you've just done on your BlackBerry, as it's
wireless. If they're on v3.x, you'll need to plug your BlackBerry into your PC
(assuming they've installed the software above onto it) to sync your Calendar
back to your work Outlook.
