Anyone know how to load blackberry desktop manager onto the desktop so it
will work? Is it possible to synchronize blackberry device with vista mail
the same way I used to be able to synchronize with outlook?

Have you looked at using the WMDC (Windows Mobile Device Center) for
synching problems?
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobi...icecenter.mspx

As for synching of Mail, that still requires Outlook and will not synch with
Windows Mail or the Calendar that is provided in Mail. Sorry.

Per T-Mobile-

The Blackberry Desktop Manager supports synchronization with ACT, Lotus
Notes, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Outlook Express 5.0 and 6.0, and
Groupwise. Currently James the Blackberry Desktop Manager software does
not support synchronization with Microsoft Mail. Regardless of the
operating system you are currently running, you will not be able to
synchronize with Microsoft Mail.

Not sure why MS or RIM decided to not work together on this but I am not happy. $160.00 Vista, $200 black berry pearl = $360.00 waste of money.

I hope soon they will get something going because I cant return either one.

There is not that much difference between Windows Mail and Outlook Express.
It might work. Try the directions for OE. Also its called Windows Mail
and not Microsoft Mail, unless you want to call it Microsoft Windows Mail.

I would try it. The T-Mobile people might not have a clue.

I wonder if there is any news yet when Blackberry will support Vista. I have
a Pearl that I love but would like to start using Windows Mail instead of
Outlook. Help! My contacts are in Outlook also ... I will try OE and see.
Thanks.
