Black Square Inspiron 3800

There is a black square on the screen of a Dell Inspiron
3800 when it comes out of hibernation. There seems to be
nothing I can do about this other than rebooting. I have
SP 3 running and the latest Bios for the laptop. Any
suggestions? Many thanks in advance.
