Hope someone could possibly help me.....
Bought a new PC 2 weeks ago along with a Sony HD camcorder. Filmed some
footage today, saved it onto new PC, converted it to .wmv format and it plays
absolutely fine in Windows media player but when I try and make a movie, I
have a black screen in the preview window with about 1mm of the footage
running horizontally across the screen, it has full sound etc. I burnt a DVD
but that is how it recorded so I had a 20 minute black screen with a tiny bit
in the middle and sound!
As it plays in Windows media, I don't think it is a problem converting it
from the Sony software. I have copied the files and put them on my lap-top
and the same thing happens.
I tried with the sample clips pre-loaded on the computer and they work fine
so obviously not a fault of the PC.
Any help anyone could offer would be very gratefully received!
