tryed to reinstall xp-pro,it did not finish installing,
aborted and on reboot boot, my pc stoped on a black screen
with the following: "Trap 00000006 ===========Exception
==================================, tr = 0028 cr0=80000011
cr2=00000000 cr3 =00039000" there's more, whats up, on
reboot-----same thing happens

When exactly do you get the trap? That sounds like faulty hardware to me.
