Hi:
I got this problem, windows xp pro start but a black screen came cannot go to the log in page. I shut the laptop by pressing power button and restart it by power button and screen came with different options, it started in last good configuration, and also in safe mode but not in normal mode. My restorer points were removed. I have installed Advance care system and uninstalling did not work. There were two folders came now on my all partitins of hard drive " RECYCLER" AND "SYSTEM VOLUME INFORMATIONS". Which I cannot delete and none of the online antivirus Kaspersky, Trend micro detect any virus or malware. I have symentic antivirus on my laptop Compac Presario C500, dual core, 512 MB Ram and 80 GB hard drive. Syscheck did not detect any hard drive problems. Can you help me in these two problems:
1. Blank Screen
2. Recycler and system volume folders
