My digital camcorder is hooked up and responds to
hitting 'play', 'rewind', etc. in Movie Maker's capture
window, but the preview window doesn't show the footage
that is actually being played. Instead I get a black
preview screen. The sound seems to record fine. Any
suggestions? Thanks!

Hi there,

You probably have the preview option turned off -- which
is good... "previewing" can result in capturing
difficulties, depending on your PC's relative power.
