Hi
I have made a video for my website in Q Time. When the video opens the
'video box' or 'window' of the actual video, smaller than the screen , opens
onto a white background/screen. All the pages of my website are on black
background. I can't seem to figure out how to have the video open and play
on a black window. Can anyone help?

If it would help to see what I'm talking about my website is
clarissalewis.com
1. Once you land on the first page, please click "gallery"
2. within the gallery page please click on the second image in the left hand
column. (a thumb of a tree crown in snow).
3. On the next page, please click on the image or the title at the top:
'Return' and you should be taken to the Quick Time video which will open onto
a white page.

I want to make the area all around the video black. I've tried contacting
the Mac people (I have a PC) to see if the background can be set in the
software but they say I need to buy a mac system and their webdesign program
which will do what I want...can't afford it. Besides, I like FrontPage it has
done everything I need until just now.

Hoping someone can help. Many thanks in advance.
Clarissa

Your link to the QT movie at
http://clarissalewis.com/clarissa_m_...ng%20notes.htm
is to open a New browser window linked as
http://clarissalewis.com/Return%20co...th%20music.mov
All new browser windows will always open as white
- unless there is a browser page at the link to control the page layout/appearance

Create a black html page, like you others, for the QT movie and embed the movie in that page
(or just embed it in http://clarissalewis.com/clarissa_m_...ng%20notes.htm)

To how to embed the QT video see
http://homepage.mac.com/rfwilmut/notes/qtmovie.html

PS
Remove all spaces from your file/folder names
and replace them with say a - or under_score
- the spaces are causing the %20 in your page links
- and in some browser will cause broken links
