When I setup a recurring meeting in Outlook say every Monday from 10:00 AM
to 11:00AM
I invite attendees and setup to reserve the resource(Conference room).

If I only change single occurence of this meeting to say Tuesday
10:00 -11:00 the old meeting still exists
in the resource calendar Somehow resource calendar is getting confused

In addition to the above problem also if I want to change any meeting from
3:00-5:00
to 4:00 - 6:00 it doesnt let me do that unless I delete the old one.

I would appreciate if you anyone can point to fixing this issue

Are you sending the changes to ALL Recipients (including the resource)?

Explain what you mean when you say "the resource calendar Somehow
resource calendar is getting confused". What happens?

Are you the original creator of the meeting?

Open the Resource Account
Select the TOOLS menu
Select CALENDAR OPTIONS... from the preferences tab
Click the CALENDAR OPTIONS... button
Click the RESOURCE SCHEDULING... button
Click the SET PERMISSIONS... button

Check to see if you have EDIT permissions if you were not
the original creator of the meeting.

Yes I am sending the change to all recipients including the conference room

It was a typo ...I mean resource calendar is somehow getting confused.

When I change a single occurence to new date it should ideally delete my
earlier occurence
and also on my second issue I cant change meeting times unless I delete the
old one.

Looks like resource calendar may have permissions issue so that it doesnt
delete them
or there is some check box concealed somewhere that conrols these settings
