BitDefender compatibility issue

I installed Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta 1 on June 22, and
on that same day my BitDefender virus definitions updates
stopped. Microsoft Security Alerts popped up a few days
later saying that my BitDefender virus protection was out-
of-date, but, it has 6 months remaining.

Any suggestions for remedying? Thanks.
