Hi experts,

This might be a bit off topic, but I couldn't find any help in google
(may be I gave the wrong search strings!!!).

We are developing a client server based application (which happens to
have some FS filters in the client side).

We want the installer should be such that the server is installed and
then installs the client software automatically over the network.

Using Active directory and GPO softwares can be deployed, however upon
experimenting we found that the new software only gets instaleld on a
new log on, if the user locks his computer and never logs off it
doesn't apply.

I am trying to circumvent this problem, is it possible? Can such remote
deployment be done without GPO, AD support?
