Hi, I recently bought a new laptop which has the integrated Bisoncam 250 nb
pro. webcam. I've got Vista Home Premium (32bit) installed and I've tried to
install the drivers and software which followed with the laptop, but without
result. I've also tried to install drivers and software from several
different driver sites around the internet, but still doesn't work or where
the installed drivers disable Live Messenger to start up etc.

Last but not least i've tried to install the driver and software which keeps
being recommended by Windows Update but without result.

I've tried to come in contact the laptop producents but they keep forwarding
me to retailer whom I purchased the laptop from.

Anyone got a suggestion to what to do? Or does anyone have a solution to
this problem?
Any help is much appreciated.

Many thanks in advance,
Alex

Spriggan,

You recently bought it? And the integrated Bisoncam don't work? Take it
back. A new laptop shouldn't have a problem like that.

However, you didn't say whether the laptop came with Vista installed or
whether it came with WinXP installed and you then installed Vista afterward.
In that case, the drivers for the Bisoncam are compatible for WinXP only and
won't work with Vista, as you have noted.

It is the responsibility of the manufacturer of the Bisoncam or of the
laptop to provide drivers compatible with Vista. If either of these sources
don't have Vista drivers for the Bisoncam, then you are out of luck. You
will have to buy a Vista compatible webcam, unless you manage to find a Vista
driver for the Bisoncam.
