It is a shame, when I look at the birthday list that many of the people who have their birthdays have not participated in the forum apart from registering or for a very long time like years.

As V_R says, that's the nature of forums.

Nowt to get upset about, as forums go, the regular - and even the not so regular - membership here is better than a helluvalot of others.

I am not upset but I feel that a lot of people are missing out with a great forum by non-participating. I only belong to one partially because of my dyslexia and I can only spend a certain amount on the PC or her indoors will find me other jobs (which I have trying to get out of for years) to do.

Aye tis a shame that more folks do not join in. Still I always prefer quality to quantity
an although we are slipping down the Google rankings we are tops on Bing.

Such is the life of forums unfortunately, there are lots of members that have registered perhaps just to browse and ask a question or two and many others that haven't posted at all.

I've found some settings in the new forum software which mean that the birthday listings will only display for members that have visted in the past year - which should remove lots of the listings for inactive members (making it easier to spot active members birthdays).
