I build myself a new computer a few months ago and for some reason there is
a password in the BIOS. I have no idea what it is, how can I bypass it? I
need to get into my BIOS to make some changes.

Thanks, Lynne

Read the manual for your motherboard. It describes what
jumper you need to set when you wish to reset the BIOS
password.

You can also remove the CMOS battery on the motherboard for a few minutes.
The password will be disabled.
