I understand that flashing the bios of a 9800 nonpro can make it show up in
windows as a pro. Now I am wondering if flashing the bios changes any of the
id numbers: device id,vendor id,subsystem id, bios p\n, etc that appear in
a problem report.

I know with my old GF3 I could change them quite easily with a set of bios
tools.
