This is on my sister's computer. Motherboard is an abit kg7-raid with a
1.2ghz duron.

What it does is sometimes it doesn't see the hard drive and thus doesnt
boot. Intead it'll say "invalid system disk." something something take out
and restart . . . something along those lines. It's the same message that
comes up when you have a non-boot up floppy.

When it does this I go into the bios and sure enough it doesn't see the hard
drive. Sometimes it will see it though . . .

Could the hard drive be starting to go? Should I upgarde the bios?

Thanks
-George

For me it was the HD that was failing.
