Hi!
The release was already mentioned in an earlier posting, but IŽd like to
share my experiences with you.
P4 Extreme(ly expensive;-) support is already announced at the download
site.
But what about the bug fixes ?
Well - with rev. 1011 I experienced a dramatical loss of memory throughput -
a whole f...ing GB/s (!)
Rev. 1013 doesnŽt fix this *completely*, but the loss is "only" about 400
MB/s compared to 1010.
Some strange phenomenons have disappeared now: when restarting the machine
from Win XP the system often hang til I pressed the reset button. Powering
down completely was never a problem though. This works both flawlessly now.
The "power up by PS/2 keyboard" feature didnŽt work with BIOS rev. 1010 -
now it does !
