I have an iPAQ 5550 with a fingerprint scanner. I have read about the HP Biometric Toolkit and how it is so nicely integrated with VS7. Drag and drop, Biometric project template, ... However, I feel really stupid. I have looked all over the HP site, the Microsoft site, newsgroups, everywhere I can think of. I have dowlnoaded BioAPIsample_v1_1 from HP and tried adding the BioAPI.dll as a reference and a tool, but that fails. I cant figure where the " .NET Wrapper" is or how to install it. Does it really exist? Can anybody give me a few pointers so I can start hacking some C# using the HP Biometric Toolkit? Please, any help would be greatly appreciated

You can get the Biometrics SDK from HP's website at:-
http://www.ipaqdeveloper.com/

You will need to register for an account (free) to download files.

I've been there and done that... But I don't see any .NET wrapper. The sample is for MFC and embedded C++. I was looking for a .sln file and a C# example. I have read about the Biometric Toolkit's integration with VS7. I can't find it or just can't figure out how to install the BioAPI.dll into it

It is on the HP site.
However, IT IS INCOMPLETE. You will have to write your own methods to
persist Biometric data to permanente storage. Ugh!
